ABOUT US

Jackson’s Dive Center was founded by Rino Jackson, who spent more than 20 years operating dive shops and serving the Roatán diving community. Born and raised in Roatán, Rino was known affectionately as “Magic Eyes” for his extraordinary ability to spot even the smallest, most elusive creatures on the reef.

Following Rino’s passing in 2022, the shop continues under the care of his family—led by his sister, Liana Jackson—and a trusted team of experienced instructors, divemasters, and a seasoned boat captain who uphold the values, standards, and deep respect for the reef that Rino established.

As an SSI dive shop, Jackson’s specializes in small groups and personalized dive experiences. Whether you’re a dive junkie, a first-time or nervous diver, a photographer, or simply someone who loves to explore beneath the surface, our team is here to meet you where you are and make every dive meaningful.

If you're looking for small groups and a local dive family, look no further: our group sizes average about three divers per excursion, so you'll never feel crowded or overlooked. We don't just want to dive with you; we want to share our passion for the ocean with you.

FUN DIVES

We offer fun dives three times a day for our daily divers. For those visiting on the cruise ship, we can tailor our dive times to your schedule.

DIVE COURSES

SSI Dive Courses are designed to let you get the most out of your vacation time. For all SSI courses, it's possible to do the academic coursework online through the SSI learning portal before you arrive in Roatán.
