We have fun dives available at 8:30am, 10:30am and 2:30pm. No need to make a reservation - just show up 15 minutes prior to the dive time and we'll assemble your gear. This is gucci diving at its finest!
FUN DIVES FOR CRUISERS

This includes everything (dive gear and boat ride) as well as extra dive times to accommodate cruise ship schedule.
MACRO DIVES
$60 PER PERSON
Go on a dive with Tony to find the smallest and most unusual reef inhabitants. Max group size: 4. Max group size with photographers: 2.
SCUBA SKILLS UPDATE
$65 PER PERSON
Has it been a while since you dove? Need a little review? One of our experienced instructors will give you a one-on-one review of the equipment, help you practice foundational scuba skills and accompany you on a dive.
OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION
$350 PER PERSON
Through SSI's online learning portal, you can begin learning before you even get to Roatán. Simply sign up and begin reading the first three chapters of the Open Water course for free!
SSI has a flexible program structure, so depending on your comfort in the water, the practical portion of the course can be done in as few as two days. Generally, though, we like to give our students the time to feel truly comfortable in the water and structure the course over three days.
ADVANCED ADVENTURER
$350 PER PERSON
Want to try a litte bit of everything? This five dive course allows you to dabble in five SSI specialties. Choose from wreck, night, deep, boat, navigation, buoyancy, marine ecology, photography, and enriched air nitrox specialties. This is the equivalent of the PADI Advanced rating.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER
$495 PER PERSON
SSI offers an advanced open water program which consists of four specialty certifications and minimum of 24 logged dives. This is not equivalent to PADI's advanced rating. If your goal is to improve your dive skills and explore more, then this course is for you. We suggest this course for those who want to dive the majority of their vacation; plan on at least 4 days for the full course! You can complete your academic work online prior to your arrival through the SSI online portal.
REACT RIGHT
$120 PER PERSON
This two-day course is designed to give you the confidence to take care of others in emergency diving situations. CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration are all taught for this course. If you're planning to complete a Stress and Rescue course, then you'll need to complete a React Right course first.
STRESS AND RESCUE
$380 PER PERSON
Despite the name, this is one of the least stressful and most fun courses that we offer. Learn how to recognize the signs of stress in yourself and other divers. Become comfortable in the techniques used to assist divers in need during emergency situations.
DIVE GUIDE
$850 PER PERSON
Becoming an SSI Dive Professional requires earning your Dive Guide certification. While PADI requires knowledge of Dive Theory in order to be a dive industry leader, SSI simply requires the Dive Guide course, which focuses on how to manage dives and be an effective dive leader. This is a rigorous course that requires 4-6 weeks to complete.
DIVEMASTER
$1200 PER PERSON
Ever dreamed of becoming a dive professional? Then this course is your answer! The SSI Divemaster certification consists of the Dive Guide course plus the Science of Diving certification. This course gets into the nitty gritty (and fascinating) aspects of diving: physics, physiology, and anatomy. Beyond the academics, this course is designed to be a hands-on internship, requiring a 4-6 week commitment.
