Born and raised in Roatán, Rino Jackson spent over two decades exploring and caring for the reef he called home, logging more than 10,000 dives in Roatán waters. His knowledge of the reef was unmatched, and his love for diving never faded—even while managing the demands of a dive shop, he chose to be in the water whenever possible. Some joked that if you looked closely, you’d see gills—because the sea truly was his element.
